Arthritis, Lung problems
I had been experiencing muscle and joint pain in the hips, back and neck for years and it was getting worse. I had very low energy and a 10-year history of respiratory problems including pneumonia, chest pain, and shortness of breath. Osteoarthritis was first diagnosed in me in 1965, and rheumatoid arthritis was diagnosed in 1969. Specifically, I had pain with standing, sitting and walking. My neck always hurt when I turned my head. My lung problems began around 1989. I had breathing problems along with chest discomfort and tightness. My problems were severe enough to greatly limit my activities.
As I look back on it, the cause of most or all of my problems seemed to stem from a lifetime of emotional repression and poor eating habits.
I was under constant care with many doctors such as internists, pulmonologists, orthopedists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists and psychotherapists. I also was treated with the holistic modalities of shiatsu, reflexology, sujok, etc. I had several surgeries – neck, back, carpal tunnel, plus others. Some of this care seemed to help temporarily, but overall the physical problems were getting dramatically worse, and I saw no chance of improving, only worsening.
My care from Dr. Berger has included chiropractic manipulations, prescription orthotics, nutritional testing/food restrictions, treatment that feels like twisting, pulling, pounding, etc, along with emotional clearing. I have also received herbs, homeopathics and vitamin/mineral supplements.
The results I’ve received here have been phenomenal. In 3+ months of treatments, I feel better than I have felt for 20 years. I have no back/hip pain, no lung/breathing problems, much improved energy and a sense of peace and centeredness everyday. I feel healed.
My advice to others concerning their own health problems would be to believe that drugs/surgeries are very possibly not the answer. And – check out chiropractic – particularly Dr. Berger style.

Abdominal pain
I had been suffering from a dull ache in the lower left part of my abdomen since the birth of my son 16 years ago. I had a caesarian section in 1987 and by 2000 had been suffering from stiffness in my lower back that had become intolerable. The stiffness was so bad that when I bent over to pull weeds in my garden I would literally get stuck and have to inch my way back to a vertical position. Since I am only 45 years old I felt this was much too young to be suffering the effects of old age! The pain in my lower abdomen would vary from just noticeable to extreme, especially when I became fatigued but I hadn’t connected the symptoms of the pain in the abdomen to to the stiffness in my lower back.
In 1987 I had the delivery doctor check my lower GI tract to see if my intestine had been damaged during the caesarian. He had given me a barium enema and an x-ray that found nothing wrong inside my intestines. He prescribed fiber to keep my intestines healthy but it never resolved the pain, which felt like a knot in my gut, so I decided I had to live with it.
I went to Dr. Allen Berger after hearing him speak at Jefferson Unitarian Church in July 2003. He asked me questions about how long I’d felt this pain in my lower abdomen and I replied since the birth of my son 16 years ago by c-section. Dr. Berger noticed my scar was a blue color and tightly bound. The skin below the bikini-line was taut where as the skin above was flabby. Dr. Berger diagnosed the pain to be a pulled ligament to the left of my scar and prescribed an acupuncture treatment for the scar itself. He seemed to think the scar could be affecting the pain in my lower back AND the pain in my gut.
I received one acupuncture treatment with a pulsating electric vibration for about 30 minutes at my first visit. I could feel the electricity move across my scar from right to left. At first the current seemed as if it were as if it were jerking between the acupuncture needles but then became a more fluid movement across the scar. After the treatment, we noticed the scar had loosened up, the color was normal flesh tone and the skin on both sides of the scar was flaccid. At the follow up check a week later it was noted that the scar had appeared considerably reduced in thickness and muscle tone appeared normal on both sides of the scar.
I have felt no more stiffness in my lower back and the pain in my lower abdomen is gone! This treatment was truly amazing!

Allergies
I am a Senior Business Systems Analyst with Martin Marietta Data Systems and I have an MBS in Finance. I have been quite successful in my career the last two years and I attribute my success to two investments. The obvious investment is obtaining an MBA. Equally important was my investment in chiropractic care with Dr. Allen Berger.
Most of my life I have been troubled with allergies and asthma. Dr. Berger started me in a program of chiropractic adjustments, a nutritionally tailored diet and vitamin supplements. My health returned rapidly.
Today I feel better that I ever have in my life. I am able to think clearly for quite extended periods of time and I retain optimism for my work which inspires my entire department. My fellow workmates comment on my energy and success. Now several of them are modifying their diets and seeking chiropractic care.
The corporation which offers its employees chiropractic and nutritional care will gain a cost effective advantage over its competition. Developing healthy, efficient employees is a completely overlooked strategy. I strongly recommend chiropractic care as an excellent investment. I will happily answer any questions concerning the treatment I have received.

Anxiety
In April 1988, when I met Dr. Berger, I was a physical wreck and emotional cripple. My list of symptoms was extensive: the worst being numerous headaches and almost constant stomach problems, as well as feeling angry, anxious, scared and depressed all the time. I had existed this way for years.
Although individual and group therapy kept me going emotionally, another chiropractor and his nutritionist’s six-month program was making me sicker and sicker. At this point, I had already given up on modern medicine. As an avid aerobic dancer for years, I could barely walk a mile, let alone do aerobics. An illness a few months before had me still quite weak and anemic. At a presentation for systemic yeast syndrome and allergy sufferers, Dr. Berger explained his philosophy and techniques for becoming a wholly well person. One of the keys he talked about was (not used by my previous chiropractor) was acupuncture. His methods and theories sounded right to me- I was convinced he could help me.
It was a tough road, though. I was in such an emotional state that I cried three out the first four appointments. Dr. Berger told me later that he was concerned about how he could successfully treat someone who got so stressed out by each appointment!
The hypoallergenic diet brought a whole new level of restrictions (I had previously been using an anti-yeast diet) that in turns, I followed compulsively or rebelliously cheated on.
Slowly and surely, I began to feel and be better. The diet and supplements eliminated many of my symptoms, the acupuncture became relaxing, refreshing experiences and the chiropractic adjustments relieved my back and neck problems.
Through everything, Dr. Berger was constantly cheerful and concerned about my welfare. He listened to me and was supportive. If the story was real, he had suggestions for solutions. If it was whining, he would be straightforward with no nonsense logic.
Today my mental health is the best it has ever been. I no longer need therapy. From the angry, frightened child of 16 months ago, I am now a happy confident adult. My physical strength has been regained. I can swim, run, bike and do aerobics again. My other physical symptoms are negligible except when I over indulge in wheat, dairy or sugary foods to which I know I am allergic.
I am at age 32, about to embark on a new career in the Navy. My future holds adventure, excitement and best of all, a good, healthy life!
Thanks for everything!

Asthma
I found Dr. Berger on the recommendation of a friend who is knowledgeable about alternative medicines. I felt as if I had seen nearly every allergist in the city in the course of 15 years trying to find help. I was treated by family physicians, allergists and even had surgery done by an Ear, Nose and throat specialist. None had been able to do more than treat symptoms with medications that caused their own complications. I had taken everything from over the counter decongestants to prescribed nasal steroids. As years passed, I literally forgot what it was like to breath through my nose. I spent my days gasping for air and feeling exhausted.
Admittedly, Dr. Berger was my last resort. By the time I started treatment here, I had progressed to occasional asthmatic episodes. . . even landing in the emergency room for treatment. There was apparently no long lasting help from the traditional medical community. Dr. Berger provided acupuncture, nutritional and chiropractic care. The combination of these therapies has created a practically miraculous turn-around in my general health and specifically in my respiratory problems.
I now rarely have breathing problems and they resolve quickly when they do arise. I don’t catch all of the colds, flus, etc. Those things were very debilitating to me before and now I rarely them a thought. I feel so much stronger!
I highly recommend Dr. Berger and advise people to stick with the course of treatment. By employing his natural and gentle methods, he has given normal life back to me.

Back Pain 1
Dear Dr. Berger:
This letter is to acknowledge the tremendous benefits I’ve experienced since being under your care.
Back problems were plaguing me for several years prior to my first office visit one and a half years ago. Things had gotten to the point where sleeping was very uncomfortable and most of my waking hours were spent suffering under tremendous discomfort. Bending over just a few inches caused shooting pains up and down my back and for someone who loves physical activity as I, this was very depressing.
A friend had talked to me numerous times about the good thinks chiropractic was doing for him and so I decided to try it out. I believe chiropractic to be the most wonderful therapy and I know I would still be physically incapacitated without it. I started seeing you three times a week and now I’m well enough to see you for general adjustments and maintenance once a month.
Here is an interesting experience I had. After a few months of seeing you, I decided to experiment with another form of therapy, acupuncture, and gave that a chance. Three weeks later, I was back with you again. It was then that I realized just how powerful of a therapy chiropractic is.
Thanks for being there when I most needed you.

Back Pain 2
I knew the time had come for me to do something about the pain in my back when I could no longer stand up without leaning on something and could no longer find a position sitting, standing or lying, where my back didn’t hurt. My back had been giving me problems on and off for several years but finally the pain had become unmanageable.
But the question was, “What do I do?” At the time, I did not have a very complimentary opinion of chiropractors. I had never met one, I had never consulted one and had some vague uneasy feeling, based primarily on ignorance that chiropractors were incompetent.
I was in excruciating pain and everything else I had tried had provided temporary relief but offered no permanent solution for my back pain. So I decided to suspend my beliefs about chiropractors and go see Allen Berger. That was 11 months ago. The pain in my back is now gone!!! The pain returns every once in a while, but only in miniscule miniscule doses when ever I abuse my back. I still see Dr. Berger for minor adjustments every several weeks and those will soon be monthly visits.
I can not say enough complimentary things about Dr. Berger (what a difference 11 months makes). Obviously, I am delighted about the improvement in my back. But I am also delighted that I no longer face the prospect of pain medications or muscle relaxants for the rest of my life. And there is one other thing- along the way I have learned from Dr. Berger the information I need to take control of my own wellness- both in terms of how to keep my back healthy and in terms of nutrition. It has been a pleasure to deal with a healing professional who believes it is his job to make himself obsolete and who demonstrates this belief by giving his patients the information they need to assume responsibility for their own wellness.

Chronic Illness 1
“Delighted, absolutely delighted(& marvelously healthier)” is my enthusiastic response from having our presenter for this Saturday work with me for three months.
I have been intensively studying & practicing being healthier for at least 40 of my 61 years. I have thoroughly studied widely diverse methods and done a pretty good job of making the best of some serious health problems.
Yet, when Dr. Berger presented to us several months ago, I was extremely impressed with the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of his treatment modalities (e.g. nerve function, nutrition, acupuncture, emotion) but also with what I sensed as his integration of them into a comprehensive spirituality that undergirds and guides his miraculously effective and quick diagnosis and treatment procedures. After three months of his helping me heal supposedly unhealable maladies, I have an even sounder basis for my continuing enthusiasm.
Now this coming Saturday, you have the opportunity to both hear how he has integrated his experience of the spirituality of various healing modalities and see him apply that with several lucky volunteers (of whom you may be one).
Whether you have some serious (even life threatening) illness, health problems or just want to enhance your well-being, I encourage (even implore!) you to come benefit from this Saturday’s class.

Chronic Illness 2
I have been treated at Confluence Wellness Center for sore and stiff muscles, digestive disorders, headaches and most recently, a car accident. I first came in three years ago because of neck and shoulder pain caused by bowling! My family had seen a chiropractor when I was a child with good results, so I knew I could find relief with chiropractic work. During these initial treatments, I began to learn about Dr. Berger’s holistic approach.
When I was seven years old, I was tested for allergies and given allergy shots for several years to relieve headaches from frequent colds. In college, I spoke to the school’s physician about my then week long headaches and he recommended codeine. I declined and continued trying, unsuccessfully, to relieve the headaches with stretching, exercise, hot baths and large quantities of Advil. I never learned the cause of the headaches.
After undergraduate school, I worked in a pre-primary class and found I had no immunity to the children’s colds and sinus infections. Repeated antibiotics only weakened by my immune system further. It was during this time I discovered I felt better when I avoided dairy products, although no one had ever spoken to me about dietary influences on my health.
When Dr. Berger began treating my suppressed immune system and taught me about the yeast imbalance created by years of antibiotics and poor diet, not only did my headaches disappear but I also lost excess weight, slept better, felt more relaxed and had more energy. He advocated a diet free of irritating foods such as dairy, sugar, fermented foods and alcohol. He also used chiropractic adjustments and nutritional supplements to improve my health. Within the first month I felt 50% improvement and after discontinuing oral contraceptives in the next month, I had a full restoration of wellness.
After my car accident, I was x-rayed in the hospital and given pain killers. They told me I could expect soreness for about a week. A month later, still in pain, I began to see Dr. Berger for a combination of acupuncture and adjustments and feel fully recovered.
One of the most important aspects of my experience with Confluence Wellness Center is that while Dr. Berger has greatly relieved my discomfort, he has also empowered me to heal myself. I have learned how I can maintain and enhance my health through diet, exercise and restful sleep. I understand more about my body functions and how I can take care of myself. If you are seeking a new form of health care, I encourage you to look for a healer who is trained to see past the symptoms to their causes, who understands the interrelatedness of the body’s systems and who will show you how you can actively participate in restoring your body to a state of health.

Kids
Dear Allen,
I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your seeing Nikki on such a short notice. Rayetta and I were pleased to find a health care provider that really seems to care. After the birth of our next baby (any day now) Rayetta will make an appointment for an adjustment. She worked for years for a chiropractor in New Jersey. I have always been a little more traditional in my limited contact with the medical community but you made me feel very welcome.

“Terminal” Liver Disease
To Whom It May Concern:
In February 1982, I paid my first visit to Allen Berger, D.C. This visit was prompted by repeated requests of all my family members due to the fact that my health had deteriorated to a point that my very existence was in jeopardy.
My problems were the result of poor eating habits, misuse of eating habits and stress. The liver was not functioning properly. And I was hospitalized for a period of twelve days. Upon my release a series of drugs were prescribed to no avail except side effects of pain in every joint and a severe rash up to my knees that would not respond to any treatment which was recommended by several medical doctors that had seen me or who had been consulted on my condition. It was quite evident that my ability to move about was waning and my condition was on a definite downward trend.
Dr. Berger immediately put me on various vitamin and nutrients. I made weekly visits to him for treatment for a period of months at which time blood tests were made and analyzed. These tests showed a continuing improvement. Dr. Berger would change the type of nutrient from time to time to further the betterment of my wellbeing that had started to make itself evident.
As of this writing the liver functions are all within normal range. The severe rash has completely healed. My strength has gotten to a point where I can fish a stream or hunt upland birds and small game, which as a retiree I have been able to do quite often these past year and a half.
Words are hard to come by to express the delight that Dr. Berger’s expertise in restoring my health had brought to my family.

Low Back and Leg Pain, Sciatica
I first came to see Dr. Allen Berger two years ago on the recommendation from a friend.
I was having lower back pain that had been ongoing for over 20 years, however it had become much worse. I had been seeing chiropractors much of the time for relief and had limited success with their treatments that would help the pain temporarily. I was having pain on a daily basis and if I walked much I would have pain from the hip shooting down my leg. The chiropractic treatments were not working any more for more than an hour or two until the problem and pain returned.
Dr. Berger analyzed what was going on said the problem was not my back. He maintained that an old injury from a leg break was causing the problem and said it was a trauma area that he needed to treat near my ankle as well as do the matrix re-patterning on me.
I tried to be positive about what he said, however, I was a bit skeptical about what he did that first treatment and when I left his office I thought to myself that I’d probably wasted my time and money. I didn’t understand the re-patterning at all and thought working on my leg and bone tissue wouldn’t relieve the pain in my lower back. Anyway, I was wrong.
I felt considerably better the next day and I began a month of going 3 times a week, then 2 times a week for a month, then once a week for a couple of months.
I try to go every month now, however last fall I missed 6 months of seeing Dr. Berger and was not that bad, but really was much better when I resumed monthly maintenance.
He didn’t treat the symptoms like traditional chiropractors, he fixed the problem and I never have the extreme pain in my back and leg anymore. It used to limit my activities and cause problems when skiing and cycling or hiking. I can do whatever I want to do now and without pain. This is 2 years of pain free after 20+ years of ongoing pinched nerve in my lower back and pain shooting down my left leg.
My advice is to talk to Allen about any problems and seek the treatment he recommends. It is different and so much better than anything out there. His natural treatments and treating the cause instead of the symptoms is the best. I have sent friends to him and he has helped all of them – no exceptions. The friend that recommended me see him is an MD and she would not tell me what he did but said it was unconventional. She said just try it – most traditional medical doctors will not recommend any non traditional treatments like this. You won’t find treatment like this anyway. Give it a try, it’s the best.
If you want to talk to me about my recommendation, I gave Dr. Berger’s office permission to put anyone with questions in touch with me about recommending this treatment and my really good experience and the ongoing health benefits.

Lymphedema
On October 1, 2004 I had a session with Dr. Berger about the lymphedema tumor on my arm which I have had for 15 years. I made an appointment and went back to him on October 15 for my first treatment and on November 12 I was told to come back every two weeks. In that time of treatments, my arm was slowly going down and the radiation burn under my right pit was so burnt with radiation that it felt like a hot iron was laying on it. Dr. Berger started doing laser on it. The burn is still there but it doesn’t hurt with a burning, stinging feeling. My arm had so much fluid and was so painful, from my shoulder to my elbow, I could hardly move my arm. That pain has gone away and the fluid is slowly going down, thanks to Dr. Berger. He is such a great doctor and I have so much confidence in him.

Migraines
I guess I’ve probably had migraine headaches all my life. The earliest one I remember is at age eight when I had to lie down in a dark room after being sick on the school bus.
I’ve had allergy tests twice. The amazing thing about those tests was that the real culprit (dairy products) causing the headaches (according to Dr. Berger) never showed up. I just injected myself with these antigens for five years to no avail. Now I know why this method never worked.
When I finally came to Dr. Berger on June 8, I’d had a migraine since Memorial Day weekend. I’d carried his card around in my purse six months after receiving a referral from my neurolinguistic programmer. I figured the problem was probably altitude because I’d spent the holiday in Houston and had a history of this symptom before. My husband and I had determined that we’d leave Denver if I couldn’t get relief somehow.
I kept a food diary. . . now I have given up all dairy products, sugar and alcohol. Believe me, the trade offs are worth it! A cure for these awful headaches was not what I had expected. I figures I’d just find a way to manage the pain. I never realized I felt terrible all the time. The acupuncture, chiropractic and nutritional methods of Dr. Berger have literally given me a new lease on life.
My gynecologist, prior to my treatments with Dr. Berger, had given me various prescription medications to help manage the headache pain, but I haven’t had so much as an aspirin since June 8, 1990. when I told her the good news during my check up in November, was she ever surprised! I think she’s considering this type of treatment because she has migraines too. I told her she really needs to get well so she can enjoy life the way it is meant to be enjoyed.
Thank you, Allen Berger. This has been a positive factor in my move to Denver.

Neck Pain
Dr. Allen Berger, Dr. Allen Berger, Dr. Allen Berger. Nine of the most important words in the world to me. If you think this is an endorsement of Dr. Allen Berger, you are absolutely correct.
In July, I met Dr. Allen Berger for the first time. Having been to chiropractic school myself, I thought I knew pretty well what I needed to know chiropractic wise. I told Dr. Berger to adjust my atlas vertebra and sacroiliac articulation and let me go. After all, that was what all the other chiropractors I had been to had done. Dr. Berger said something to the effect of “let me be the judge of that”. I am certainly glad that he didn’t listen to me. Upon viewing my x-rays he told me I had a compression fracture of the fifth cervical vertebra.
Some other chiropractors that I’d gone to had taken several x-rays of my neck and hadn’t found the fracture. Upon motion palpation he also told me that the “major” in my spine was the 6th cervical vertebra.
He adjusted me in several directions. Not only had the other chiropractors I’d been to never even adjusted my 6th cervical, but none of them had ever adjusted one vertebra in more than one direction or listing. After several treatments I started to enjoy a state of health and wellbeing greater than ever before in my lifetime.
Thank you very much Dr. Berger. Those of you who are here for Dr. Berger’s care are in the office of the best I have ever experienced. That should mean something because I have been to about thirty different Chiropractors in my lifetime.

Pain
Dr. Berger: My very own miracle worker
I could make this testimony very long and detailed, or I could just say, “I came; he saw; he conquered.” End of story! But I think I need to go into some detail about where I was with this crippled body when I first met Dr. Berger in September 2004 and where I am today, nearly free of all pain along with being free of lots of extra pounds as well.
I moved to Denver from the Midwest in August 2004. While living in the Midwest, I had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Plantar Fasciitis, used a cane, was given pain pills and cortisone injections in the feet and had a permanent handicap placard in my car. I was working part time in a bookstore that only increased the pain. I felt hopeless, helpless and destined to live out my life in chronic pain with all it’s limitations.
Following a thorough discussion of my life, including not only physical problems but emotional ones and life events as well, Dr. Berger then did a nutritional assessment and determined that a great deal of my pain was being caused by foods I was eating that were feeding microorganisms in my system, and that increased the pain. He directed me on what foods to avoid, gave me nutritional supplements and began his treatments. I have had the privilege of being treated with all his methods of treatment from matrix repatterning, NET, acupuncture, low level laser treatments, along with his gentle caring and listening and having orthotics ordered for my shoes to ease the pain of plantar fascitis.
Initially I was seeing him three times a week and wondered how I would make it through the days off. But almost immediately I was experiencing a decrease in pain in all area of my body. I am now seeing him twice a month, working on easing some of the chronic pain that will be there for a while, but nothing, NOTHING like the pain I had when I first came to see him.
Now, nine months later, I am 35 pounds lighter, and I have a pain reduction of around 85% and feel better than I have in many years. Honestly and truly, I feel like a new person. I AM a new person. I have mobility that I thought was gone forever. I have received NO injections from him, NO pain pills, NO medicines to treat the symptoms or mask the pain. I have received new methods of treatment that treats the entire person and have been given a new life. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Berger for all he has done for me.

Post-Surgical Pain
Since I’ve been seeing Dr. Berger for health care, I’ve been feeling much better. During the last three years, my back and legs have progressively started aching to the point that I could not do regular everyday activities that involved being on my feet. I had to stop grocery shopping. Cleaning my house, doing laundry and taking walks were very painful, exhaustive and totally debilitating.
In 1973 I had surgery performed on my lower back because of scoliosis (curvature of the spine). I currently have a 12-inch metal rod in my back. As a result of the surgery, I have a premature case of arthritis in my back which has caused a lot of pain. I also have a slight case of cerebral palsy that affects my left side. My pelvis is tilted to one side which has caused me to stand about an inch off balance. A lift is needed in my right shoe to correct this. I have never been told the proper size lift needed in my shoe to relieve the strain placed on my back from standing so unevenly. Dr. Berger is working with me to find the correct lift needed for my right shoe. He has also prescribed a custom pair of orthotics for better weight distribution over my back and feet.
I also receive acupuncture about once a week, which to my skepticism has made me feel better. Acupuncture has not only had a calming effect on me but has helped to alleviate my pain. When I first started acupuncture, I went once every ten days for two months and felt pretty good. I stopped for about two months because I was feeling good and wanted to go without the acupuncture. Within a months time, I started wearing down quickly once again and experienced constant pain from my waist down to my toes.
I currently receive acupuncture once a week because it helps me get by day to day without becoming completely worn down from pain.
I often wish I could have received care from a chiropractor while growing up and before I had back surgery. As it is, I’m grateful I have the opportunity to receive care from Dr. Berger. I plan to continue learning preventive care and receiving health care services from Dr. Berger.
Thank you very much for helping me get back to feeling normal again Dr. Berger

Ulcers, Concussion, Anxiety
I started seeing Allen Berger in the late 1990’s while I was in high school. I’d been experiencing piercing chest pains for some amount of time which my physician thought were the result of my having some inflamed cartilage in my rib cage. To cure the problem that he thought I had, he put me on a daily regimen of ibuprofen for about a month; the chest pains persisted, but thanks to the ibuprofen my stomach began aching constantly. I went to see a gastroenterologist who first diagnosed me with both acid reflux and a number of stomach ulcers, then put me on Prilosec for my reflux and a number of other drugs to get rid of my ulcers. Surprisingly to me at the time, the Prilosec did nothing for my reflux, and the ulcer medication only made my stomach condition worse. On a wing and a prayer, my mother contacted an old friend of hers who she had heard was running a chiropractic office in Denver, this, as you may have already guessed, was Dr. Allen Berger. During my first visit to Dr. Berger’s office he administered a number of traditional chiropractic methods to relieve me of a number of problems which I was unaware I had been dealing with (namely a slightly curved spine). Not only did his adjustments at that time make me feel markedly better, but after seeing him for no more than 2 weeks my ulcers were completely gone and my reflux was no longer a problem.
In the years since then I have slowly but surely come to count on Dr. Berger for an increasingly wider range of my varied medical problems. Since my initial visit, which occurred some 7 years ago, Dr. Berger has aided me greatly in recovering from chronic headaches, a severely sprained ankle, a second batch of ulcers, various liver issues (mind you I was in college at CU for most of the years that I have seen Allen), a severe and remarkably persistant head injury, as well as numerous problems which arose from my taking a cycle of Accutane to clear up my skin. On top of all of this, Allen foresaw that I was developing an anxiety disorder months before my emotional state reached a point in which traditional doctors were willing to admit that I indeed had a definite emotional problem. It is within the last three issues which I have mentioned; my concussion, Accutane problems, and anxiety disorder, that Allen has done by far his most remarkable work. His laser therapy, acupuncture techniques, and understanding of Matrix Repatterning have been nothing sort of essential in my recovery from these varied issues, and that’s really the most superb element of Allen’s care: It’s always changing. Unlike many alternative caregivers who take one discipline (be it chiropractic, acupuncture, or otherwise) and view it as a cure-all for any issue related to human health, Allen is always eager to explore and eventually master new, cutting edge, methods to better treat his patients. I truly am quite frightened to imagine the dire straits which I’d currently find myself in had my mother not referred me to Dr. Berger all of those years ago. I am absolutely indebted to the man for the assistance which he has provided to me, but don’t ask him if that’s the case, there’s no way he would admit it.
